When you purchase a floor cloth or mural, you are investing in a piece of art.
You begin by picking a gallery design and contacting me by phone or e-mail. All floor cloths are made to order making it easy to change the colors in the gallery designs to complement your decor. New designs are always being added to the gallery. If you have a specific design idea in mind and are not interested in a customized piece, Lauren will work with you to create a new gallery design. Allow between two to six weeks for delivery, depending on the complexity of the design. Gallery designs are priced according to size and prices are listed in the gallery. Each rug is shipped with installation directions and use and care instructions. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
Custom Orders: Murals, Decorative Painting and Floorcoths
We begin the process for floorcloths and murals with a conversation about your needs, gathering information about your space, decor, photographs and measurements of your space, design preferences in addition to available paint and fabric and samples. To create your one of a kind design a non refundable deposit of $100.00 is required to cover the design fee. This fee will be applied to the final payment. After all the information has been gathered you will be sent a small rendering of your design with a commitment agreement that includes the final cost, shipping and completion date. Changes can be made at this time with no additional fee. Once the design, colors and size and shape have been agreed to a 50% deposit is required to confirm the order.
Floorcloths: The balance, less the $100.00 design fee, is due prior to shipping. Installation directions and use and care instructions are shipped with the floorcloth.
Murals and Decorative Painting: A commitment agreement stating the begin and finish date, the total price, less the design fee, and the conditions will be included with the drawing design. Upon receipt of the signed agreement and deposit the work will begin.

Decorative Painting
Decorative paining can be done on any paint-able surface. Click here to return to the decorative painting gallery for ideas for your space, or inspire me with your thoughts. All decorative paining is custom designed through the collaborative process outlined above. Decorative painting is done with non toxic acrylic paint and, when appropriate, finished with one to three coats of water based protective finish.
- Floor cloths make a decorative accent and are practical in any room of your home.
- Clean floor cloths with a damp mop or by steam cleaning.
- Floor cloths are hypo-allergenic and omit no toxins unlike conventional carpeting.
- They can be used on any hard indoor surface but should be protected from furniture legs with felt pads.
- Floor cloths are finished with three to five coats of protective finish to last through years of use. The finish can be revitalized with a fresh coat of paste wax or an application of top coat.
